What you should know about Hawkes Bay Multisports Club
Please feel free to take a look and see the growth and development the Club has made. From these reports you will get a feel of what a great sport we have and how much fun we have taking part in it. As you can imagine we have a very busy Committee that works very hard to ensure that our club runs effectively and in a business like manner. We have these policies in place so that when decisions are made the reasons for those decisions are not a secret nor are they done on a random basis. We are a professionally run organisation that prides itself on supporting the needs of all its members whether they want to simply have a go or achieve to an elite level.
The club has been in existence since 1986 and offers triathlon opportunities to the young and old, the fit to the beginner. We pride ourselves in being a family orientated club who welcomes everyone from child to grandparent and we are a social bunch with a shared love of physical activity. We will do all that we can, within our power, to ensure your race is successful and fun. Since we were known as Hawke’s Bay Multisports Club, in 2014 it was decided to change the trading name to Triathlon Hawke’s Bay to align with what we predominantly do, whilst still remaining Hawke’s Bay Multipsorts Club officially in the back ground as not to lose a proud history of our club. Triathlon HB is run by a committee of club members who have a diverse background, and bring an excellent range of skills and knowledge to the organisation. This team includes business people who are very experienced in running businesses and share that knowledge as we run the business of Triathlon and Duathlon in Hawke’s Bay. We try to have a mix of ages, gender and experience so we can get a feel of what everyone may need from our club. In addition they provide governance to a full time Development Manager who is responsible for marketing, sponsorship, event management and club development
