Excellent health services working in partnership to improve the health and wellbeing of our people and to reduce health inequalities within our community . The purpose of the Clinical, Advisory and Governance Committee is to ensure Health Hawke’s Bay is accountable for continuously improving the quality of its services and safeguarding high standards of care by creating an environment in which excellence in clinical care will flourish. The Clinical, Advisory and Governance Committee is an advisory sub committee of the Health Hawke’s Bay Board. The Health Hawke’s Bay Board may delegate specified decision making authority to the Clinical, Advisory and Governance Committee. The Clinical, Advisory and Governance Committee is made up of representatives from the Health Hawke’s Bay s health professionals, including but not limited to, doctors, nurses, pharmacies, laboratories, Maori Providers, PHO Directors direct link to PHO board , persons co opted as necessary.
The Clinical, Advisory and Governance Committee is appointed by the Health Hawke’s Bay Board, from nominations received from the key stakeholders and health professionals working within primary health care. To improve health outcomes for Maori, Pacific and underserved communities through the development of innovative strategies and health services in order to address known health disparities. To provide a robust advisory process for the selection, monitoring and evaluation of proposals, plans and programmes for Service to Improve Access SIA . To advise the HHB TOHB Board and management in decision making and identifying priorities where funding is limited. The Finance, Audit and Risk Committee exists to advise the Health Hawke’s Bay Board specifically on financial matters and accountability.
The Finance, Audit and Risk Committee is an advisory sub committee of the Health Hawke’s Bay Board. The Health Hawke’s Bay Board may delegate specified decision making authority to the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee. The Finance, Audit and Risk Committee is made up of Health Hawke’s Bay Board Directors and if required, co opted financial legal experts. Provide business cases and financial modelling attached to new developments or projects.
