My background as a photographer goes back some twenty years and crosses the disciplines of commercial, art and portrait photography, each genre influencing and enlightening the other. This experience and versatility enables me to approach any brief with creative flair and technical finesse. While working as a professional photographer I have achieved formal academic qualifications with a Degree in Visual Art and Design, winning the top research prize, and most recently a Post Graduate Diploma in Visual and Material Culture, which I passed with distinction. My work features in publications such as Homestyle, Your Home Garden, NZ House Garden and Mind Food
Cape Sanctuary is a relatively new, and so far unique, approach to a big conservation defy in Fresh Zealand.
My photography ranges from editorial to advertising, corporate, industrial, lifestyle, product, architecture and interior spaces. Commercial portraiture is about creating a 'look', an image that ties up all the elements of you, your products or services. I can highly support Sarah if you need a portrait that captures what makes you special. Family portraiture is a huge love of mine families, babies, children, teenagers, grandchildren it is the celebration of life and love, of family bonds that span generations and the creation of lasting memories and heirlooms.
They reference the botanical studies synonymous with the 19th century, yet bring a contemporary twist to the notion. My commercial labor covers a wide range of photographic imagery, from editorial to advertising, corporate, industrial, lifestyle, food, product, architecture and interior spaces. This is a project I am very proud to be a part of, not only with the hands on optional work, but with this ongoing photographic record of the animals that now inhabit this very special place
